Sligo Abbey was designed back again in 1252 and it had been accidentally burnt to the ground in 1414 every time a candle left lighting during the constructing set the whole area alight. His grave is marked with a straightforward headstone having an inscription that reads, ‘cast a cold eye on lifestyle, on Demise, horseman, go by Oder River
